Lighting
Perimeter String Lights
Similar to Christmas string lights, these lights are typically hung around the perimeter of the tent. They add light to the edge of the tent and a charming finishing touch to the party space.
Flood Lights
Primarily for utility use, these lights are ideal for catering and porta-pottie tents. They are particularly useful for informal occasions when brighter lighting is required.
Onion Lamps
Two of these classic New England style lanterns on each center pole combined with the perimeter string lights provides a soft, attractive light for dining or cocktails.
Japanese Lanterns
These are genuine silk lanterns strung throughout the tent creating a festive, slightly Far Eastern atmosphere. These lanterns provide a comfortable light with or without perimeter lighting. A dimmer is recommended for fine tuning if the two are combined.
Marquees
In tent lingo a marquee describes any sort of covered walkway. We have two varieties below which serve slightly different purposes. Clear or solid sides and string lighting can be attached to the sides of either option.
Bimini
The tent bimini evolved from the boat bimini and is made up of a pair of aluminum arches (7 ft. high, 7 ft. wide and either 7 ft. or 11 ft. long) spanned by tent fabric. It is the most effective way to create a stable, watertight connection between our tents and another tent, a covered walkway or a building.
Covered Walkways
Our covered walkways are essentially long, skinny tents. They have stakes, lines (ropes) and wooden poles on the sides and in the center just like our tents, but they are 8 ft. wide and come in 20 ft., 30 ft. or 40 ft. lengths. They join to one another to make the length of walkway required. To connect to a tent they either work with a bimini (tightest option) or they simply overlap (simplest option).
